My Royal Baby values your privacy. We process only the data necessary for (improving) our services and handle the information we collect about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services made accessible on it by My Royal Baby. The effective date of these terms is 01/11/2023, and with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what data we collect about you, how we use it, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect it against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide us.

About Data Processing

Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it, what security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.

E-commerce Software

Our online store is developed with software from Shopify.com. Personal data that you provide to us for our services is shared with this party. Shopify.com has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify.com is required to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have with them. Shopify.com uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored.

**Payment Processors: Mollie**

For processing (part of) the payments in our online store, we use the platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address, and residence details, as well as your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to improve its services and to share (anonymized) data with third parties for this purpose. All guarantees mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s service for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not retain your data longer than allowed by legal terms.

Shipping and Logistics: PackNed

When you place an order with us, it is our task to deliver your package to you. We use the services of PackNed for handling the deliveries. It is necessary for us to share your name, address, and residence details with PackNed. PackNed uses this data only for executing the agreement. In case PackNed employs subcontractors, PackNed will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and Accounting: e-boekhouden.nl

For maintaining our administration and accounting, we use the services of e-boekhouden.nl. We share your name, address, and residence details and order details. This data is used for managing sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. e-boekhouden.nl is obliged to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. e-boekhouden.nl does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Purpose of Data Processing

We use your data solely for our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us, and we use this data to contact you at a later time - other than at your request - we will ask for your explicit permission. Your data is not shared with third parties, other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality under the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically Collected Data

Data automatically collected by our website is processed to further improve our services. This data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation in Fiscal and Criminal Investigations

In certain cases, My Royal Baby may be obliged to share your data in connection with governmental fiscal or criminal investigations based on a legal obligation. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose it within the limits of the law.

Retention Periods

We retain your data as long as you are a client of ours. This means we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also interpret this as a forget request. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices containing your (personal) data for 7 years, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your customer profile and documents we have produced in response to your order.

Your Rights

Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you, as a data subject, have certain rights concerning the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below we explain what these rights are and how you can invoke these rights. To prevent misuse, we only send copies and transcripts of your data to your already known e-mail address. If you wish to receive the data at another e-mail address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of processed requests; in the case of a forget request, we administer anonymized data. All copies and transcripts of data you receive are in the machine-readable data format we use within our systems.

You always have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.

Right of Access

You always have the right to inspect the data we (have) processed that relates to your person or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy officer. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data with an overview of the processors who have this data, indicating the category under which we have stored this data, to the e-mail address known to us.

Right to Rectification

You always have the right to have the data we (have) processed that relates to your person or can be traced back to you, rectified. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy officer. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been adjusted to the e-mail address known to us.

Right to Restrict Processing

You always have the right to restrict the data we (have) processed that relates to your person or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy officer. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to Data Portability

You always have the right to have the data we (have) processed that relates to your person or can be traced back to you, carried out by another party. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy officer. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or transcripts of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties to the e-mail address known to us. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue the service in such a case because the secure connection of data files can no longer be guaranteed.

Right to Object and Other Rights

In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of My Royal Baby. If you object, we will immediately cease the data processing pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or transcripts of data we (have) processed available to you and then permanently cease processing. You also have the right not to be subjected to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe that this is the case, please contact our privacy officer.

Cookies

Third-Party Cookies

Shopify.com places a Google Analytics cookie. They have configured it to anonymize IP addresses and have disabled Google's ability to use the data for other services. Therefore, no traceable data is processed.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy has consequences for how we process already collected data related to you, we will inform you by e-mail.
